Seaside Campground<\/strong>in Notre-Dame-de-Monts<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Want a vacation with your feet in the sand? L’Orgatte Campground in the Vend\u00e9e<\/a> is located just 400 meters from La Braie Beach<\/strong>. Here, the Atlantic Ocean is practically within the range of tents. You are 400 mfrom La Braie Beach<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La Braie Beach is the main beach for<\/strong> L’Orgatte Campground. It\u2019s a public beach with free access, just a 400-meter<\/strong> walk from the campground\u2014less than a 10-minute walk. In July and August, the access path is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., giving you plenty of time to enjoy the sunsets over the Atlantic\u2014a sight you won\u2019t want to miss. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beach is not patrolled, but the nearest lifeguard station is a 15-minute walk away at the central beach. Depending on the season and the tides, the shoreline can be sandy or rocky<\/strong>, so be sure to check before leaving your sandals at the campground! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Would you like to bring your pet? Dogs are allowed on La Braie Beach\u2014 on a leash<\/strong>\u2014from April 1 to September 30. However, they are not allowed to swim between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Outside of these hours, go ahead and splash around! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Seaside Camping in the Vend\u00e9e<\/strong>: Walk to the Beach Through the Forest<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is one of the unique charms of camping by the sea at L’Orgatte in the Vend\u00e9e: to get to the beach, you walk through the Pays de Monts national forest<\/strong>. A shaded path beneath the pine trees\u2014a soothing stroll before reaching the vast blue sea. In both summer and fall, this walk or bike ride is part of the experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From La Braie Beach, you can also go fishing<\/strong> or bring your own water sports equipment. In July and August, the central beach<\/strong> offers beach sports activities, and the Club des Oursins welcomes children for supervised beach activities. There\u2019s something to keep everyone\u2014young and old\u2014busy! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And if you\u2019d like to ride along the coast and explore other spots, the bike paths<\/strong> will easily take you to nearby beaches and the seaside resorts of Saint-Jean-de-Monts, La Barre-de-Monts-Fromentine, and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Just a 10-minute walk<\/strong> from the campground, the Notre-Dame-de-Monts Water Sports Center<\/strong>, located on R\u00e9gates Beach, offers a wide range of water sports and recreational activities. A must-visit for thrill-seekers and saltwater lovers! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
