Camping pitch L’Orgatte has chosen to offer only bare camping pitches for tents, trailers, and RVs in order to preserve the authenticity and exceptional natural setting of the Pays de Monts national forest. No rental units here: just the essentials—the great outdoors and pine trees. A camping rental in the Vendée just the way we like it—simple and rejuvenating. Spread across more than 5 hectares of wooded grounds, the campground’s 299 camping pitches welcome you with a calm and friendly atmosphere, just 400 meters from La Braie Beach.

Are you looking for a spacious, well-located campsite in the Vendée? L’Orgatte offers campsites ranging from 80 to 100 m², with both sunny and shaded areas depending on the location, accommodating up to 6 people per site.
Pitches for tents, trailers, or RVs.
All campsites are assigned upon arrival to ensure that everyone has a space suited to their needs. Check-in begins at 2 p.m., and check-out is by 12 p.m. During the off-season, a “late check-in, early check-out” option allows you to arrive in the morning and leave in the afternoon, subject to availability.
European plug adapters are available to borrow free of charge (with a €30 security deposit) — convenient for our guests from all over Europe! Subject to availability.

Our pitches
for bicycle tourists
L’Orgatte Campground has been awarded the “Accueil Vélo ” certification and is proud of it. The Vélodyssée, one of Europe’s most beautiful cycling routes along the Atlantic coast, runs right past the campground’s entrance. It’s a top stop for all touring cyclists!
For tent and RV pitches tailored to cyclists, the campsite offers specially equipped “Accueil Vélo” pitches in Notre-Dame-de-Monts. Third-party service providers can also deliver and pick up bicycles directly on-site, ensuring a stress-free experience.
Campervans and motorhomes are also welcome: rent a camping pitch in the Vendée, in the heart of the forest and just a stone’s throw from the ocean, and make L’Orgatte your base for exploring the Vendée coastline at your own pace.
Our sanitary facilities with accessible facilities
Comfort and cleanliness are guaranteed with 6 sanitary facilities spread throughout the campground:
- 3 large buildings (Gravelot, Mésange, Pic-vert) with showers, restrooms, sinks, laundry tubs, and dishwashing sinks
- 3 small buildings (Squirrels, Pines, Laundromat) with restrooms and sinks
Two buildings are equipped with wheelchair-accessible entrances to ensure the comfort of all guests, regardless of their mobility.
The campground’s laundry room has 2 washing machines and 1 dryer, at 5 € per token (laundry detergent available for 1 €, cash payment at the front desk). An iron is also available to borrow for free, with a 30 € security deposit.
